PECA's Power Supply Unit is a subsection of PECA's Transmission Medium Impairment Simulator (TMIS) systems.

PECA's Power Supply (DC Power and Distribution) provides DC power to all PECA Units. PECA's Power Supply contains 4 power supply modules that generate the standard voltages of +5VDC, +12VDC, +15VDC and +24VDC, with the required circuitry for -5VDC and -12VDC option.  The power supply front panel contains an on/off switch and LED indicators to visibly monitor all power supply voltages.  Each supply contains rear panel AC and DC fuse holders to make fuse changes more convenient.  A typical PECA TMIS, housed in 2 standard equipment racks, requires (2) PECA Power Supply units.
