PECA's Standard TMIS Rack Configuration

TMIS Design and Integration

PECA's TMIS are comprised of PECA Units, third party equipment, measurement and instrumentation mounted within standard 19" equipment racks, (specific equipment racks may be used upon request) . All required signal, control and power cables are harnessed and clearly labeled.

Third party equipment and instrumentation are various frame sizes from 1RU (1 3/4") to 11 RU (19 1/4") heights and half to full rack widths. Equipment mounting is either via rack mount kits or on shelves with dress panels which produce a rack mount appearance. Shelf mounting is practical for instrumentation that is shared within lab testing.

PECA's TMIS Units house logical system functions and are assembled in 1RU (1 3/4"), 2RU (3 1/2") and 3RU (5 1/4") chassises.  The chart below contains a list of PECA Units integrated in many of the PECA's TMIS systems. Most PECA units listed below contain a link to its full function overview.

All components that comprise the various "sections" of PECA's TMIS are housed in logical "units" that contain all components such as splitters, attenuators, directional couplers, etc. Please view a typical unit assembly to better understand how PECA's TMIS Units are manufactured to be easily removed for modification or upgrade if necessary.

PECA's TMIS are comprised of PECA Units and various "filler" and "patch" panels that make connections to PECA's TMIS systems quick and convenient for the operator.

Virtually of PECA's TMIS system have been shipped with a system Display Panel for easily viewing the various attenuation levels throughout the TMIS system. Active Distribution System

PECA has contructed several Active Distribution Systems that have been incorporated into PECA's TMIS Systems. These distribution systems are housed in the same standard 19" equipment racks as PECA's TMIS systems, making them easily integrated into an existing system .
