MODEL LMS-1544
  PECA Inc. , is introducing a Loss Measurement System that is as easy to use as a multimeter.  Certain Baseband LANs specify Attenuative Taps and Splitters in the construction of the network, requiring verification of I/O Port attenuation values.  PECA/Extronix’ LMS-1544, Loss Measurement System consisting of the LMT-1544 Transmitter and the LMR-1544 Receiver  makes the measurement and verification easy and accurate.

The LMS-1544’s transmitter, LMT-1544, is constructed to conveniently connect to the input of the cable network applying the test reference signal throughout the network. The LMT is AC powered to ensure reliable unattended operation.

The LMS-1544’s receiver, LMR-1544, is portable and equipped with rechargeable batteries providing for easy  transporting from I/O tap to I/O tap location.  The LMR is also AC powered for operation and recharging batteries.

Set up and calibration requires only connecting the transmitter to the receiver and adjusting the transmitter output.  From then on, just connect the LMS-1544 to the I/O ports, select the Loss Range and read the meter.
