Model DT and SDT
Series taps are designed for 75 OHM lines carrying DATA at BASEBAND
or other signals in the 0.1 to 5.0 MHz frequency range. They come in
3 dB increments, permitting a good choice of values for any system layout.
The highly efficient
transfer design affords low feed-through loss and bi-directional capability.
It furnishes excellent impedance matching on both feeder and tap.
Model DT
Plated and enameled
housing is ready to mount to any flat surface with provided screws.
Model SDT
They are built
in a cast aluminum housing with a metal and rubber gasket to prevent
moisture, dust and ingress from interfering signals. Taps are suitable
for indoor or outdoor use, but no for direct burial or extremely acid
environments. A strand clamp for 1/4" strand is attached. Also,
a flat bar is furnished for mounting to a flat surface. Tap can also
be mounted on .500" O.D. cable by use of two VSF-500S adapters
or terminated with a STR-75R VS-59 type adaptors can be used for RG-6/U
or RG-59/U flexible coaxial cables.
