Active Distribution System Rack Front

In order to provide connectivity for simultaneous testing of multiple devices, PECA has designed a pre-assembled Active Distribution System Rack. Equipment representative of actual field transmission hardware (e.g. HFC repeater amplifiers, fiber optic transmitters & receivers) can be provided, together with reels of coaxial cable (as illustrated above) and reels of fiber, to simulate a node of a cable system. Typically, this field distribution-type hardware is rack mounted and is provided with monitoring test points that are patched to the rack top panel (as illustrated above).

Note: When fiber optic equipment is requested, this equipment requires an additional equipment rack.
